Prosperity Gospel
The future is a mere glimpse of the present
So why are you in trivial pursuit?
Running with what you thought was jewels
But only fools' gold for the average fool
That got you compromising your health
For that preacher that's promised you a raise
A rise and fall that's been substantiated
By his ability to make you a charitable prophet
Who's exploited you like used goods?
So you would hope for a dream car
But instead, got you in a metamorphosis
Like chains of gangs,
Crippling and stumbling
Over your eagerness to be manipulated
You've been hoodwinked
Bamboozled into the scandals of corporate pulpits
Caught in a sanctuary full of Babylon benefactors
Who all resemble Captain America?
Captivating your will and self-interest
In what you thought was invested for the majority
Was cast away for the greed and lustful minority!
