The 18th Letter

As the world revolves, spinning round and round
I stand firm, against all odds
Because the world moves irrepressibly, without substance
But as it completes its full turn on its indecisive axis
360 degrees is only a perception of reality
Manifested into ages of glimpse and fictitious hopes
And promises never fulfilled until the days of prophecies

As the sun sets upon the hillside,
From where we reside
It calls upon who we are, revealing hidden darkness
Passages and pathways that seem endless,
Inevitably we seek the light, but only for the sake of this sinful world
Capturing what we thought we knew, into deception and shattered dreams
As we are lost in the midst of despair and perplexity
As the world continuously revolves, without a bit of hope

I stand firm, without a bit of bitterness
For this world revolves around my circumference,
Continuously invading my space
And unashamed in its discriminatory ways
But I stand, as I prevail in the spirit, bringing truth to light
As that light shines upon the darkness, the sun reveals the only way
Shinning brighter and brighter, as the truth is manifested
Until the end to come,
Unwavering always and forever until the last days…
